New "Allowable Materials" Rule

Some news related to the introduction of the new Mindstorms NXT kit for the 2006 FLL season. LEGO pledges they will continue to support the RCX system for at least two more years. The Allowable Materials rule is changed to put teams on an equal footing whether they are using the RCX or NXT.

Coaches' Handbook, 2nd Edition

The FLL Coaches' Handbook introduced in 2005 has been updated and improved using input from the Coaches' Survey. The second edition of the Coaches' Handbook now also comes with two DVD's with tournament highlights and project training resources.

The FIRST LEGO League (FLL) World Festival, held annually at the Georgia Dome and the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, will be held April 12 - 14, 2007. The festival marks the conclusion of the past season’s round of competitions around the world, with a tournament celebration of this year’s Nano Quest theme.
